Although saddened to hear of my Aunt Ginnie’s death, I am most grateful that Jim Conlon notified me of her passing. I regret I am unable to be at her service in person, but will attend in mind and heart. I have so many memories of spending wonder-filled times with she and Uncle Billy (my mother’s brother). To share a few: weekends at their home in Delaware as a young child playing with her jewelry; the summer she delivered a jeep (which I think had belonged to her brothers) to my mom (Marijo) to use called “Minnie-the-Moocher”; and the Christmas they came to visit us in Dallas, TX enroute back from the Mexican border where they purchased two chihuahuas Icky Do and Do Icky. Uncle Billy and she loved each other dearly, and totally enjoyed their lives together. Aunt Ginnie was a truly beautiful women with auburn coloring and exquisite skin. She loved to laugh, was a great story teller, and an accomplished cook and hostess. She was optimistic, nurturing, gentle and talented in so many ways. Her spirit will be missed. I share two pictures if I can figure out how to do so. Topsy (aka Bridget Godwin Trosper)
