Nancy Burke, 89 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday evening, November 22, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Township.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Lillian (Thomas) Weaver.

Nancy attended Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed in the garment industry until her retirement in 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband John T. Burke, brothers Donald, Warren, John, Robert, David, and Edward Weaver, and her sisters Shirley Weaver and Elizabeth Knight, Nephews, David, Donald, and Warren Weaver, and Nieces Carol Downey and Lynn Tracey.

Surviving are her nephew and caregiver Gary Weaver and his wife Rose, Hanover Twp., nephews and nieces, Mark Weaver, Pat Ropietski, Sandra Jones, Dr. Glenn Weaver, Phillip Weaver, Johnny Weaver, Ken Weaver and Sylvia Havard.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705. Interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
