Luchetti (Lulis) March 22, 1933 - November 5, 2016 Service Date: November 9, 2016 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Cemetery Sacred Heart Cemetery Church Saints Peter and Paul Church Dorothy Luchetti, 83, of Plains Township, passed away Saturday evening, November 5, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Nehrebecki) Lulis. Dorothy was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1950, was a homemaker and housewife and was employed in the area garment industry. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains, and currently Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains, She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis S. Luchetti on March 20, 2006, Brother Eugene Lulis. Surviving are her daughters Michelle Luchetti and Teresa Luchetti, both of Plains, Kim Bornstein and her husband Steve, Breinigsville, PA, sons Louis Luchetti and his wife Susanne, and Michael Luchetti and his wife Debbie, all of Plains, Granddaughters, Maria, Helene, and Kady Luchetti, Michelle Hunt and her husband Paul, and Ava Bornstein, Sisters Mary Ann D’Amico, West Seneca, NY, and Alyce Gelley, Niskayuna, NY, several nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s family would like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center-East Mountain, and Compassionate Hospice Care for the wonderful care given to Dorothy. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Dorothy’s nephew Jay Luchetti for his guidance and support during this difficult time. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 9:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
