Timothy F. Conahan

Timothy F. Conahan, 66 of the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 24, 2024 at Allied Hospice Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA, with his family by his side.

Born on June 25, 1957 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late George J. and Aileen (Payne) Conahan.

Tim was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed as a roofer for T & M Roofing, until his retirement.  He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.

Tim was an avid fisherman, camper, and loved going to the Casino.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers William, Douglas, Richard, Dwayne, David, and Thomas Conahan, and Edward Perillo.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Kathleen (Loftus) Conahan, Wilkes-Barre, daughters Sara Conahan Christine Conahan, both of Wilkes-Barre, and Kerry Conahan, Edwardsville, grandchildren Tim and Emily Buraczewski, Alayna Conahan, and Tyler and Dylan Mattis, sisters Helyn Hallas, Nanticoke, Catherine Cover, Pineville, NC, Patricia Strosko, Deborah Kruse, and Donna Heller, all of Wilkes-Barre, several nieces and nephews.

Tim’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and staff of Geisinger Hospital, Henry Cancer Center, and Allied Hospice Meade Street, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Tim.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, PA  18643.  Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of mass at church.  Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street  Plains, PA  18705.
