Robert A. Rodzinak

Robert A. Rodzinak, 52 of Jenkins Township, passed away Sunday evening, August 6, 2023 at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Robert Rodzinak of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Patricia Ann (Kuczma) Rodzinak.

Rob was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1989, and Kings’ College, Class of 1993, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  Rob was employed as a Pennsylvania State Trooper for 26 years, retiring in 2019, and currently employed as a security guard at Pride Mobility, Duryea.

He was a member of the Wyoming Valley Lodge FOP #36, Hanover Township, the Polish American Veterans, Hudson, and was an avid Corn hole player.

He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Rodzinak.

Surviving in addition to his father Robert, are his wife of 22 years, the former Christina Carr, Jenkins Twp., daughters Alyssa Rodzinak, Hollywood, FL, Shawna Rodzinak and Kayla Rodzinak, at home, sisters Karen Coyne and her husband Kevin, Dallas, and Amie Rodzinak and her fiancée Bryan Kioske, Wilkes-Barre Twp., nephews Kaden and Liam Coyne, and nieces Gracie and Mollie Coyne, all of Dallas, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Rob will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705, with Deacon Donald Crane, officiating.  Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains.  Family and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Rob’s name.
