Ricky also loved to work in his yard gardening, and was an avid golfer and softball player for years.  He was sarcastic and a little gruff, but above all else he loved his family and would do anything for them.

He is survived by his partner, Barbara Rose, Wilkes-Barre; the mother of his children, Kathleen Klauss-Kerr, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; daughters Nikki Stapleton and her husband Mark, South Bend IN, and Allie Kerr, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; son Eric Kerr, Buffalo NY; and Barb’s children Mary Hirt and her husband Jonathan, West Pittston, and their daughter Harmony; and Frank Schwartz, White Haven, brother Bob Kerr and his wife Cheri, Calabash, NC, twin sister Ellen Kinder and her husband Doug, Virginia, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and his 2 dogs, Pita and Aja, and his 2 cats Gillie and Kunta.
