Rebecca L. Olander, 78 of Plains Township, passed away Wednesday morning, September 26, 2018 at her home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Hedwig (Borucki) Williams.

Becky was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, and was owner/operator of Rebecca’s Poodle Shop in Plains. She also was employed as a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Hudson, until its closure and merger with Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Leonard Olander, sons Mark Olander and his wife Valarie, West Wyoming, and David Olander and his fiancée, Alicia Kenzura, Mountain Top, grandchildren David, Karissa, Abby, Paige, A.J., and Christina, great-grandson Colton, sister Edith Williams, Edgewater, FL.

Funeral will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 9:30 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be held in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
