Pauline Skillinge, 86 of Center Valley, PA, and formerly a long time resident of Plains Township, passed away Sunday morning, January 31, 2021 at Sacred Heart Assisted Living at Saucon Creek, Center Valley, PA, with her son David at her side.

Born in Plains, Pauline was she daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Duda) Labuda.

Pauline was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, and was employed at Bell of Pennsylvania for 36 years, retiring as Director of Accounting. After her husband, Daniel, passed she relocated to Center Valley to be closer to her grandchildren and was a special part of their lives. Pauline was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains, The Plains Women’s Club, and The Bell Telephone Pioneers.

Pauline loved spending time with her family especially watching her nephews and nieces grow up to be fine adults. She loved to travel on vacations and do sightseeing

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Daniel Skillinge on April 18, 1999, sisters Mary Pensieri, Alice Stortz, and Margurite Chalker.

Surviving are her son Dr. David Skillinge and his wife Kristen, Hellertown, PA, granddaughters Lauren and Jenna Skillinge, Hellertown, brother Dr. Michael Labuda and his wife Joan, Plains and many nieces and nephews and great nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at church. Due to the ongoing pandemic, restrictions have been put in place. Those attending the visitation, we ask that you be brief when paying your respects, please follow the practice of social distancing, and masks are required at all times at the church. Private interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
