Pamela J. Fantaskey

Pamela J. Fantaskey, 75 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday morning, June 4, 2023 at Lakewood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Nanticoke, PA, after a courageous battle against Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on April 20, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Mary J. (Traplo) Glawe.

Pam was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1966, and was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre.

She was employed as a secretary at St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre, at IMG Insurance Management Group, and last at Sundance Vacations, where she served as the Administrative Assistant until her retirement.

Surviving are her husband Charles Fantaskey, Wilkes-Barre, daughter Nicole Levanda, Wilkes-Barre, son Philip Levanda and his wife Bridget, Hanover Township, grandchildren Brianna, Courtney, Caitlin, and William, and her brother Douglas Glawe, Mountain Top.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA  18701.  Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.  Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Pam’s memory.
