Mary Elliott Hess, 66 of Wilkes-Barre and formerly of Allentown, passed away Sunday morning, July 30, 2017 at Riverstreet Manor Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Allentown, Mary was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Olga (Boyko) Geletkanycz.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown, and was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown, until her retirement.

Surviving are her husband of 17 years, Jon Hess, Wilkes-Barre, children Jennifer Mann and James Elliott, both of Allentown, Christine Hess, Breinigsville, PA, Michael Hess, Wilkes-Barre, and Sara Hess, Coopersburg, PA, 5 grandchildren, sister Irene Heilman, Ft. Meyers, FLA, and brother Robert Geletkanycz, Quakertown, PA, nieces and nephews.
