Mary C. Kruger

Mary C. Kruger, 76 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, PA.

Born in Plains on October 5, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Josephine (Moran) Kruger.

Mary was a graduate of Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1965 and Marywood College, Scranton.

She was employed as an educator for the Wilkes-Barre Area School District, retiring from G.A.R. High School after teaching Math for 30 years.

Mary was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Master Leadership, and volunteered at Geisinger South Hospital, Wilkes-Barre and the VA Hospital, Plains. She was a member of St. Andrews’s Church, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving is her Twin Sister Ann Kruger, at home.

A Mass of Celebration will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew’s Parish, 316 Parrish Street, Wilkes Barre, PA  18702.

Memorial donations may be made to Pennsylvanians for Human Life, 31 Hanover St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, or to the charity of one’s choice.
