Stachurski (Zack) February 9, 1931 - April 25, 2021 Service Date: April 30, 2021 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Cemetery Mount Olivet Cemetery Church Saints Peter and Paul Church Margaret Stachurski, 90 of Jenkins Township, passed away Sunday morning, April 25, 2021 at Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter, PA. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Rowker) Zack. Marge was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School, and was employed as a seamstress in the area garment factories. A woman of great faith, Marge was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Mother’s Guild. She was also a member of the I.L.G.W.U. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward “Edge” Stachurski on November 7, 2018, sisters Mary Morriken, Helen Hornick, and Irene Dillon. Surviving are her daughters Geralyn Kobela and her husband Ted, Allentown, and Sandy Miller and her husband Dave, Wilkes-Barre, grandsons Christopher Kobela and his wife Alyssa, D.J. Miller and his wife Kelly, Derek Miller and his wife Hadley, and Daren Miller and his fiancée Lucia Walkowiak, great-grandchildren Peyton Miller and Koa Kobela, sisters-in-law Florence Walsh, Leesbury, FL, Theresa Everhart and Dolores Mocion, both of Plains, numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. A live stream of the Funeral Mass will be on Saints Peter & Paul Parish FACEBOOK page. Inurnment will be held in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of mass Friday at church. Those attending the visitation and/or funeral mass, we ask that you be brief when paying your respects, please follow the practice of social distancing, and masks are required at all times at church.
