Lawrence R. Williams, 75 of Little Creek, Delaware and formerly of Buck Twp., PA, passed away Thursday morning, June 25, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, Delaware.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Robert & Margaret (Casey) Williams.

He attended Wilkes-Barre Township schools and was employed as a heavy equipment operator for #1 Contracting until his retirement. He also operated a private security business. He was a member of Holy Cross Church, Dover Delaware. He was a former constable for Buck Township and past president of the Luzerne County Constables Association. Larry liked fishing, camping out, gardening, and riding his touring motorcycle with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Evans, Louise Collum, and Patricia Smith.

Surviving are his wife the former Carol Basher, children Sandy Williams, Plains, Lori Clark and her husband James, Allentown, Christopher Williams and his wife Kathryn, Hartly, DE, grandchildren Kaley Williams, Lincoln Clark, Amber Newton and Breann Woss, sisters Barbara Balestrini and Jean Bzura.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Andre Bessette Parish, 672 North Main Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company, Station 54 P.O. Box 327 Little Creek, Delaware 19961.
