Joseph M. Osmanski, 33 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday morning, June 1, 2018.

Born in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Michele (Miscavage) Lepore and Armand Lepore of Wilkes-Barre and the late Joseph Osmanski.

Joe was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 2003 and was employed at City Mager, Wilkes-Barre.

Joe “OZ” was a devoted son, brother, Godfather, and friend who was always the first to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, wrestling, and shared an incredible passion for rugby with his “Brothers.” His infectious smile and charismatic personality touched all who knew him. He will be remembered for his positive energy and the way he made others feel.

In addition to his father Joseph Osmanski, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Stanley Osmanski, Maternal Grandfather Edward Miscavage, and Uncle Rick Osmanski.

Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father, Michele and Armand, are his brother Matthew Osmanski, girlfriend Jenny Caso, Paternal Grandmother Mollie Osmanski, Maternal Grandmother Eleanor Miscavage, step-grandparents Leona and Armand Lepore, many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father Joseph A. Kearney, officiating. Those attending the funeral mass Saturday are asked to go directly to church. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saints Peter & Paul Church Food Pantry, C/O 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705.
