Helen E. (Paczkowski) Korman, 73 of Jenkins Twp., and Nanticoke, passes away Thursday afternoon, April 10, 2014 at her summer home in Sun City Center, Florida.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Nellie (Niemiec) Paczkowski.

Elaine was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School and was employed as a Home Health Aide, and a Visiting Nurse until her retirement.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband William B. Novis.

Surviving are her son William J. Novis and his girlfriend/companion Gail Mackey, Nanticoke, sisters Connie Conord and her husband James, Bayville, NJ, and Mary Ann Lott, Little Egg Harbor, NJ, nephew Stanley Conord and his wife Kris, great niece Alexandra, and great-nephews Ian and Christian.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street  Plains, PA  18705 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in SS. Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road,  Plains, PA  18705.  Entombment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming.  Friends may call Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
