Helen D. Kulesza, 90 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday evening, July 14, 2021 at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emily Jarmolowski.

Helen was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed in the garment industry at Grand Finale Limited, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Helen was devoted to her grandchildren and loved family and holiday gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her sister Sophie Piekara, brothers Anthony, Stanley, Frank, Chester, Joseph, Leo, John, and Edward Jarmolowski, son-in-law James Cross.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Joseph J. Kulesza, Wilkes-Barre Township, son Joseph A. Kulesza and his wife Beverly, Exeter, daughter Joanne Cross, Wilkes-Barre Township, grandchildren Jimmy Cross and his wife Sarah, Austin, TX, Joseph R. Kulesza and his fiancée Nicole Evans, Mountain Top, Jason Cross, Wilkes-Barre, and Brittany E. Kulesza, Exeter, great-granddaughter Maddie Evans, Mountain Top, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Helen will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705. Interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Helen’s memory.
