Edward T. Glawe, 91, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Plains.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, He was the son of the late Max and Catherine (Klose) Glawe.

Edward was a graduate of Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre and was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was employed by Bell Telephone as a repairman until his retirement. Ed then was employed by Williams Bus Line for over 20 years, transporting children and groups from community organizations.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre.

Edward was preceded in death by his Wife the former Mary Traplo on March 11, 2003, and his brother Charles Glawe.

Surviving are his Daughter Pam Fantaskey and her Husband Charles, Wilkes-Barre and Son Douglas Glawe, Mountain Top, Pa., Grandchildren, Nicole and Philip Levanda, Wilkes Barre , Sister Ruth Ann Marr, Rockville Maryland, Nephews and Nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 9:30 am in St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street Wilkes Barre, PA 18701. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends may call at St. Nicholas Church from 8:30 am Monday until time of Mass.

There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home.
