Doyt C. Grasse, Sr., 74 of Swoyersville, passed away Monday morning, June 15, 2015 at the inpatient unit of Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Flushing, New York, he was the son of the late Doyt L. and Blanche (Korb) Grasse.

Doyt was a self-employed artist and painter all of his life. He was very active in his community doing charity work and paintings for his neighbors and friends.

Surviving are his sons William Grasse and his wife Suzanne, Tyler Hill, PA, Erik Lee Grasse and his wife Renee, Georgetown, Texas, Odin T. Grasse and his wife
Bridgette, Kentucky, and Doyt Grasse, Jr., New Hampshire, 9 grandchildren, brother Phillip Grasse, Brooksville, Florida, and sister Sally Grasse, Hankins, NY , 2 nieces.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705.
