Mrozinski Dolores L. Mrozinski, 85, of Woodstock, GA and formerly of Plains Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 6th, at Woodstock Estates, Woodstock, GA. A nearly lifelong resident of the Wilkes-Barre Township and Plains area, Dolores was the daughter of the late Anthony and Justina (Papson) Brown. She attended Wilkes-Barre Township High School, graduating in 1948. She worked for the Gort Frock Company for a number of years after graduation. Dolores married Joseph C. Mrozinski in 1952 at Holy Rosary Church in Ashley. The couple joined Sacred Heart Slovak Church, North End section of Wilkes-Barre, where both were active members of the parish community. Dolores, and her husband, Joe were among the founding members of the Polka Partners Dance club and attended numerous dances in the area. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her brothers John and Anthony Brown. Surviving are her son, Kenny, Acworth, GA, her daughter, Judy Mahoney, Cortlandt Manor, NY, her grandchildren Marie Mrozinski, Matt Mrozinski, Katie Mahoney and Michael Mahoney, her sisters Marie Brown, Acworth, GA, and Bernice Yencha, Wilkes-Barre, PA and her brother, James Brown, Wapwallopen, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 9:30 a.m. in St. Andre Bessette Parish at St. Stainslaus Kostka Church, 668 N. Main Street, North Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705. Family and friends are invited to go directly to the church on Tuesday morning. Interment will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming, PA. Family and friends may call Monday evening, October 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705. No flowers, please.
