Charles Robert Wishart 83 of Presque Isle, ME, passed away at the home of his daughter in Dallas, PA on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

Charles was born in Arlington, MA on January 18, 1933 to the son of the late Robert and Anna Hanson Wishart. He graduated from Clinton High School Class of 1950 and was a member of Anah Temple Shrine and Oriental Band and Presque Isle Masons. Charles enjoyed repairing small motors, flying his airplane and going to air shows. He belonged to Presque Isle Spud Shufflers Square Dancers and loved his Camp at Squa Pan Lake with his family and friends.

Charles worked for Ladd Paper Co. and Carl Smith Foods and the Caribou Airport.

He is preceded in death by his son Robert Carroll Wishart.

Surviving are his wife Marilyn Hews Wishart with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage. Daughter Susan Fischbein and her husband Richard, Dallas, Pa., Daughter-in-law Dayna James Wishart, Presque Isle, Me.; 4 grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Jessica Wishart, Woodland, Me., Shane Wishart, Soldier Pond, Me., Emily Fischbein Piazza and her husband Greg, Dallas, Pa. and Rachel Fischbein, San Francisco, Ca.; 3 Great-grandchildren, Oliver Piazza, Dallas, Pa., Ridge and Brylee Wishart, Woodland, Me., Brother Clyde Wishart, Burnham, Me., and Sisters Cynthia and her husband Max Raye, Bangor, Me., Cyndra and her husband Dennis Knowles, Detroit, Me. Charles is also survived by a very special mother-in-law Velma Lundbeck, Clinton, Me.

Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Clinton ME. At his request, there will be no calling hours.
