Obituaries » Catherine "Cathy" Kempf (Seiger) April 15, 1953 - August 26, 2021 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Cemetery St. Mary s Cemetery Church Saints Peter and Paul Church Catherine A. “Cathy” Kempf, Esq., 68 of Wynnewood, PA, passed away with her daughters by her side as the sun set on August 25, 2021. This date, while relevant, will not be the last day that Cathy has brought joy to the people in her life. Cathy was born into the loving arms of the late Joseph “Earl” and Catherine C (McNamee) Seiger. She was the second child of what was to become a large and close-nit family. Cathy was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Stony Brook University, New York and Temple Law School, Philadelphia, where she earned her law degree and Masters of taxation. Cathy spent the first half of her career as an attorney. After she left her career in law, she found her true passion when she became both a Philadelphia and National leader, as well as the Website Director for the Flame of Love (https://flameoflove.us) Cathy’s greatest joys in life came from her family and her devotion to God. She will always be remembered for her limitless love, kindness, generosity, selflessness, and ability to find joy in every part of her life. She was preceded in death by her sister Maureen Seiger and niece Kim Conklin. Her spirit will be carried on by her three daughters Katie, Chrissy, and Kelly Kempf, her grandson Hartley Joseph Rybas, and her brothers and sisters: James, Charles “Chuckie”, and Ann Marie Seiger, Donna Conklin, all of Wilkes-Barre, Joseph Seiger and his wife Joyce, Trexlertown, PA, and Sharon Santarelli and her husband Alan, Plains, and her six nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705. A memorial service will be held in the Philadelphia area in the following weeks. In lieu of flowers, please celebrate Cathy’s life with a mass card in her name, or a donation to a charity that helps to support the work of Cathy’s good friend Jesus.Catherine "Cathy" Kempf (Seiger)
