Barbara J. Stasik

Barbara J. Stasik, 77 of Plains Township, passed away Sunday evening, May 7, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.

Born November 21, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Genevieve (Matlawski) Baloga.

Barbara was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1963, and was employed at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Leslie Fay, and last at Diamond Vending, until her retirement.  After her retirement, Barbara became a caretaker of her brother Albert and her mother Genevieve, until their passing.

She was preceded in death by her infant brother Charles Baloga, and her brothers William and Albert Baloga.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Thomas Stasik, sons Thomas and Gregory Stasik, all of Plains Twp., sister Dorothy Quigley and her husband Robert, Forty Fort, nieces and nephews, and her fur buddy, Charlie.

According to Barbara’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705.
