Aldo J. Esopi

Aldo J. Esopi, 93 of Allentown, passed away Wednesday morning, June 28, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.

Born on December 26, 1929 in Plains, PA, he was the son of the late Gino and Nancy (Cappellini) Esopi.

Aldo was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, and was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War.  Upon his honorable discharge from active service, he was employed as a Tool and Die Maker for over 40 years at Western Electric, ATT, and Lucent until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, the former Linda H. Hearing on April 3, 2019, brother Evo Esopi and sister Ede Murphy.

Surviving are his daughter Lisa Esopi, Plains, sons Richard Esopi, Plains, and David Esopi, Watertown, Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming.   Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705.
