William J. Davis, 54 of the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday evening, December 1, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, PA.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late William J. and Dorothy (Cable) Davis.

Bill was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Class of 1987, and was employed as a warehouse worker.  Bill was a simple man who lived a simple life.  He enjoyed watching football and being with his late dog and buddy, Winnie.

Surviving are his Fiancée Pamela Obitz, Wilkes-Barre, sisters Debra Giuliano and her Fiancé Stephen Brynok, and Margaret “Peggy” Solovey and her husband Steven, all of Plains, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 10:00 am in Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road Plains, PA  18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Mount Greenwood Cemetery, Pioneer Avenue, Trucksville, PA.  Family and friends may call 9:00 am until 10:00 am at church Monday morning. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705.
