William C. Williams

William Calvin Williams, 82 of Plains Township, passed away Wednesday evening November 22, 2023 at Oak Ridge Healthcare Center in Taylor, PA.

Born in Sugar Notch PA, he was the son of the late Owen Michael Williams and Elena Mary (Mason) Williams.

Bill was a 1959 graduate of Kingston High School, specializing in upholstery.  He was also a member of Sugar Notch Methodist Church.  He was employed as an upholsterer at several local furniture companies throughout the years. His most recent employer was Pride Mobility, and he was there for 25 years.

Besides his love for upholstery, he had a great passion for bowling. He bowled on many teams and leagues throughout his lifetime, and had several 300 games and many awards.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marie Pisano Williams on February 27, 2021; and brothers Owen “George”, and Russel Williams.

Surviving are his sons, Rickey Williams and his wife Kelly, of Wyoming; and Andrew Williams and his wife Kim of Drums; grandchildren, Brandon, Kendall, and Mason Williams; sister, Sarah Edsell and husband Seth, Rome, PA; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Bill will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705, with Rev. Marty Garms, Pastor of the East End Primitive Methodist Church, officiating.  Entombment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Family and friends may call Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
