Obituaries » Thomas M. Regan, Sr. March 9, 1943 - June 18, 2024 Thomas M. Regan, Sr., 81, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, with his family at his side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Schappert) Regan. Tom was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. Tom was employed as a truck driver for Vic Mars Sea Food Edwardsville, America Asphalt, and was a horseman at Pocono Downs Race Track, Plains, and last as an Iron Worker for Local 489. Tom was an avid drummer, playing with Chick Reeves and the Last Call, Timmy and the Bits and Pieces and The Dynamic Duo. He was avid hunter and fisherman and Past Vice-President of the Nuangola Rod and Gun Club, and loved watching NASCAR and Western Movies. The Regan family would like to thank the Wilkes-General Hospital CVICU for their special care and compassion given to their Father. In addition to Tom’s parents, he was preceded in death by his Daughter, Kathleen Regan, Grandson Michael Thomas; Brothers, William, Patrick, Donald, Joseph, and Charles Regan; Sister Margaret Adams. Surviving are his Wife of 61 Years; Kathleen Wallace Regan, Wilkes-Barre, William P. Regan and his wife Yvonne, Dixon, Missouri, Thomas M. Regan, Jr., and his companion Kim Belles, Wilkes-Barre, Robert P. Regan and his wife Celeste, Lehman, Daughter, Shannon Caraballo, and her husband Arsenio, Edwardsville; Grandchildren, Alexandria, Oliva, Brynn, C.J., Courtney, Chad, Gavin, Charley and Casey Lynn; Great-Grandchildren, Emmitt, Kassidy, and Kolson; Brothers, Jerome Regan and his wife Cathy, Wilkes-Barre Martin J. Regan and his wife Betsy, Wilkes-Barre, Sisters, Patricia Donnelly and her husband James, Wilkes-Barre and Marion Smith and Husband Carlos Jr., Dallas, PA, nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Corcoran Funereal Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Father Joseph Verespy, officiating.
