Thomas G. Fagula, 85, of the Hudson section of Plains Township, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.

Thomas was born in Plains, the son of the late John & Helen (Demonich ) Fagula. He was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, class of 1950, and was employed as a purchasing agent for Eastern Penn Supply Company, retiring in 1997.

Tom was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church, Hudson and a faithful member of its choir. He is a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

He was a member of the Plains Lions Club for 51 years serving as the Club’s Song Leader and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow, the highest award given in Lionism.

Tom was an avid golfer and had a fabulous singing voice.

He was preceded in death by his Wife the former Henrietta Broski on July 15, 2016; Brothers John, George and Louis Fagula, Sisters Helen Maciag and Elizabeth (Martin) Mill and Great-Nephew Brad Fagula.

Surviving are several Nephews and Nieces, and Great and Great-Great Nephews and Nieces.

Funeral will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road Plains, PA 18705 with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming.

Family and friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Plains Lions Club will meet at 6:45 pm at the funeral home for Necrology Services at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations if desired may be made to the Plains Lions Club to be used to foster Lion Projects in Lion Tom’s memory.
