Scott Erick Gryczka, 38 of Bear Creek, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014.

Born in Bear Creek, he was the son of the late Robert & Carole (Soboleski) Gryczka, Sr.

Scott was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 1995, and was employed as a carpenter for Local 645.  Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to take his boys on his Quad to do both.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son Scott and his brother Bobby Gryczka.

Surviving are his wife the former Maggie Moran, Bear Creek, sons Max Anthony and Logan Erick Gryczka, at home, father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Jane Moran, brother-in-law Brian Moran and his wife Amanda, niece Sophia Moran, and step-father Robert Stucker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:0 am in Corpus Christi Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston.   Friends are asked to go directly to church Friday morning.  Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street  Plains, PA  18705.
