Sadie J. Mancini, 81 of Plains Township, passed away Tuesday evening, August 17, 2021 at Kingston Manor Health Care Center, Kingston, PA.

Born in the Hilldale section of Plains, she was the daughter of the late Spartico and Margaret (Haggerty) Leonardi.

Sadie was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, and was employed as a seamstress all of her life.  She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U and Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gene ”Pepa” Mancini on October 29, 2019, sisters Elizabeth Gubitoso and Shirley Leonardi, and brothers Robert and Gene Leonardi.

Surviving are her sons Gene Mancini, Jr., and his wife Sue, Mountain Top, and Randy Mancini and his wife Paula, Middletown, PA, grandchildren Marni Mancini, Philadelphia, Morgan Margelewicz and her husband Charlie, Fayetteville, NC, and Marcus Mancini, Middletown, PA, sister Jacqueline Atcavage, Bear Creek, sister-in-law Shirley Mancini, Ashley, brother-in-law Phil Mancini and his wife Shirley, Plains, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA  18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating.  The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Saints Peter and Paul FACEBOOK Page.  Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains.  Family and friends may call Friday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at church.  Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705.
