Rosemary Jones, 74 of Dallas, PA, passed away on November 15, 2021, with her daughter by her side.

Born in Plains Township on March 10, 1947, Rosie was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Younshousky) Miller.

Rosemary was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Plains, Class of 1964 and Wilkes-Barre Business College. She worked at RCA, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Laboratory, and Kraft Foods.

She was a lover of all animals, even the bears that ran through her backyard, triple word scores in Scrabble, extended family gatherings at Easter and Thanksgiving in her beautiful home, and her early morning cups of coffee while she admired the view from her dining room window.

She was preceded in death by her brother Stanley Miller, sisters Genevieve McMonigle and Nancy Jacobs.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jones, Dallas, daughter, Sharon Makuka and her husband Karol, Dallas, 2 beautiful granddaughters, Izabela and Sofia Makukova, sister, Joan Burke and her husband Gene, Midlothian VA, sister-in-law, Donna Popkin Miller, Boca Raton, FL, 11 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. A Live Stream of the Funeral Mass will be on Saints Peter & Paul Parish FACEBOOK page. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery, Plains. Family will greet friends at the church between 9:00 and 10:00 am Thursday morning. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Rosemary’s name.
