Romaine S. Ercolani, 91 of Plains Township, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, November 9, 2020 at The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains, where she had been a resident for the past 3 ½ years.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edith (Cardoni) Isopi.

Romaine was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1947, and College Misericordia, Class of 1951, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She was employed at Block Brothers of Wilkes-Barre and Kincel of Dunmore as an Assistant Insurance Agent until her retirement. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

Romaine enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid New York Yankee fan. She could always be found on the sidelines enjoying her grandchildren’s athletic games. She looked forward to her FaceTime calls with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren every day. She was always there for her family and we were so blessed to have her in our lives for the time we did.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Mario Ercolani on February 11, 2006.

Surviving are her daughter Maria Bowman and her husband Tom, and son Mario Ercolani, Jr. and his wife Sandy, all of Plains, grandchildren Amanda Bowman and her husband Kevin Holbert, Angela Faulkner and her husband Harry, and Tom Bowman and his wife Lauren, great-grandchildren Henry and Tommy Faulkner, and Cayden and Cora Bowman, brother Fred Isopi and his wife Diane, Camp Hill, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday November 12, 2020 at 10:00 am, in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705 with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday morning at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Masks and face coverings are required at all times at church and please practice social distancing while paying your respects. Interment will be held in the Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

In accordance with Romaine’s wished, the family requests that flowers be omitted and Memorial Donations if desired be made to The Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, 900 South Arlington Avenue, Suite 134A, Harrisburg, PA 17109 in Romaine’s memory.
