Robert P. Carey Jr., 47, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at his residence.

Born in the Parsons Section of Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Robert and Barbara (Scott) Carey, Sr.

Bob was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Triangle Club of Miners Mills and was an avid outdoorsmen and a fan of the Seattle Seahawks Football team and the New York Rangers Hockey team.

He is survived by his son Robert P. Carey III, State College; Sisters, Barbara Baczmarga and her husband Greg, Harding; Lori Klug and her husband Doug, Mountaintop; Lisa Brzenchek and husband Chris, Wilkes-Barre; Brothers, William Carey and his wife Joy, Montrose, Pa., and Michael Carey and his fiancé Kayla, Tunkhannock, Pa.

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 8:00 PM from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
