Dear Thornton Family, Your dad was a great man. I remember all the times we spent on David place hanging out just playing ball. He was always so encouraging too me. He was a great man. May God’s grace comfort you and your family during this trying time. Darrell Johnson

Bob and I worked together for about 35 years with bell he was a super guy always kind and nevercritized anyone always willing to help out when neede , we had so many good times and so many stories to tell ,it certainly was a pleasure to work with bob and just to be with him . may he rest in peace .eternal rest bobby, good job, always your friend JIm mazeitis

I am so sad to hear of Mr. Thornton's passing. I am so glad that I was able to visit with him a few years ago when I was in town. He was a great man, and I hope you cherish the many memories he left.

Bob, Brian and all the Thornton family, please accept my condolences on your Dad’s passing. He was a wonderful man especially when we played Little League. He would not just help a kid on his team, but anyone who asked for his help. He was truly a man who cared about all of us. John Casey
