Rita P. Kasteleba, of Luzerne, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018.

Born in Plains Township, she was the daughter of Rita (Ferris) Dirvonsky of Plains, and the late Frank G. Dirvonsky.

Rita was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1971, and was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Carrie Ann Evans in 1997, and her brother Frank Dirvonsky.

Surviving in addition to her mother Rita, are her son Daniel Kasteleba and his girlfriend Jennifer, Plains, grandchildren, Kole Khristopher Kasteleba and Kerri Ann Kasteleba, brother David Dirvonsky, Plains, and sister Clare Dirvonsky, Luzerne.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
