Patrick P. Perugino, 71 of Plains Township, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, November 7, 2020 at Timer Ridge Health Care Center, Plains Township.

Born in Plains, Pat was the son of the late Patrick A. and Antoinette A. (Giovine) Perugino.

Pat was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, Class of 1967 and was employed as a truck driver for Plymouth Rock for 28 years, Roadway Services, and last for the Wilkes-Barre Area School District until his retirement. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains and The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 401.

Pat was an avid hunter and fisherman and would often be found at local donut shops.

He and his wife the former Cathirose Staley would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 1, 2021.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Perugino.

Surviving in addition to his wife Cathirose are his daughter Chardell McCrory and her husband Paul, Pasadena, MD, son Patrick Perugino and his wife Dawn, Larksville, grandchildren Sydney and Caden McCrory, and Logan Perugino, brother Richard Perugino, Nanticoke, nephew Charles Perugino, and his Little Girl, Charm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday November 13, 2020 at 10:00 am, in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705 with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends may call Friday morning at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Masks and face coverings are required at all times at church and please practice social distancing while paying your respects. Inurnment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saints Peter & Paul Church Food Pantry, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, in Pat’s memory.
