Patrick Connell McNulty, 67, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre, after a brief illness.

He was born March 1, 1947 in Pittston, son of the late Aloysius and Ann Connell McNulty.

He graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School, Pittston, in 1965, and attended the University of Scranton.

Patrick was employed many years in the insurance business and retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a tort claims adjuster, retiring in 2011.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roseann Delaney McNulty, in 2002, and a nephew, Brett Connell Stanton, in 2008.

Surviving are three children, son Connell McNulty and his wife Cathleen, Maryland; daughter Shannon and her husband James Hayward, Wilkes-Barre; and son Ryan McNulty, Kingston; four grandchildren, Rose, Maeve, Brigid and Benjamin; a sister, Mary Ellen Stanton and her husband Jack, Doylestown; nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street  Plains, PA  18705.

Memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
