Patricia “Tish” Murphy, 58, of Plains Township, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014, at her home after suffering a heart attack.

Born in Plains, Tish was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha (Snarski) Zabriski.

Tish was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 1972, and was employed for Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania for the past 42 years.

She is survived by her Son John, at home; Brothers; Ronald Zabriski, Wilkes-Barre, Thomas, Ben, and Paul Zabriski of Plains and Mark Zabriski, Kingston; Sisters; Marcie Zabriski and Mary Lou Rundle, of Plains and Margaret Ann Griglock, Wilkes-Barre; Several Nephews and Nieces, Great Nephews and Nieces and Great-Great Niece; Companion Harry Howell and Loving puppy, Zen.

Funeral Services for Tish will be held at 7 pm Thursday evening, February 6, 2014, from the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc. 20 South Main Street Plains, PA  18705.  Family and friend may call Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
