Nancy A. Jacobs, 65, of Edwardsville, passed away Tuesday evening, July 8, 2014 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township,

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Younshousky) Miller.

Nancy was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and was formerly employed as a Program Coordinator. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and The Pennsylvanians for Human Life, Wyoming Valley Chapter.

She was preceded in death by her Sister and Brother in Law Genevieve and Peter
McMonigle.

Surviving are her Daughter Jeanina (Jina) Melnyk and her Husband Jason, Voorhees New Jersey; Twin Granddaughters, Joan and Julia Melnyk, Brother Stanley Miller and his Wife Donna, Boca Raton, Florida; Sisters Rosemary Jones and her Husband Tom, Dallas and Joan Burke and her Husband Gene, Midlothian, Virginia, many Nephews and Nieces.

Funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home 20 South Main Street Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Ignatius Church, Kingston. Interment will be held in St. Casmir’s Cemetery, Pittston Township.

Friends may visit Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home.
