Lavage October 22, 1961 - June 7, 2018 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Mike Lavage of Scranton, known to friends as “Snake,” passed away on June 7, 2018, at the age of 56. He was the son of the late William T. and Dorothy S. (Siskovich) Lavage. Mike was born in Keyser, West Virginia but lived the majority of his life in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Area. He was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and Wilkes University. Mike previously worked at Iron City Sash and Door, Erie Materials and most recently Harvey Building Products. Mike enjoyed cheering for the New York Yankees and Penn State football. He also enjoyed spending time with Nittany, his faithful dog companion. Mike was known for his sense of humor, his family and friends will have stories to tell for years. He is survived by his beloved son Skylar (Scranton); Skylar’s mother Kathy Ferrett (Scranton); sisters Joanne Morgantini and husband Eric (Forty Fort) and Carol Repshas and husband Dave (Lancaster) and brother Bill and wife Cindy (Danville, PA). Mike is also survived by five nephews and nieces: Aaron and Dan Lavage, Mandi Gigliotti, Eric Morgantini and Emily Repshas.
