Michael A. Barancho, 66 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Michael and Florence (Homza) Barancho.

Mike was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1972, and earned his Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Luzerne County Community College. He was last employed by Trans-Med as a Para-Transit Driver.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Sandra Giovine, sons Michael Barancho and Marc Barancho, all of Wilkes-Barre.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
