Melody J. Landi, 55 of Plains Township, passed away Thursday morning, June 9, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 12, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Christine (Hontz) Williams.

Melody was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed as a waitress for Charlie Browns, Plains, The Saber Room, Wilkes-Barre, Olive Garden, Wilkes-Barre Twp., and for the last 22 years for the State Liquor Store, Plains.

Melody enjoyed bus trips to New York City with her friends, family vacations to Long Beach Island, and trips to Harvey’s Lake. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains,

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Edward Landi, Sr., daughter Tiffany Landi, and son Edward Landi, Jr., both of Plains, her Grandson and Light of her Life Brody Landi, and Granddaughter Brylee Landi, brother Malcolm Williams and his wife Alicia, Forty Fort, Sisters Debbie Trumbower and her companion Gary, Clermont, Florida; Terry Milbrodt and her husband Ed, Shavertown; Janet Miles, Wilkes-Barre and Cindy Husar, Shavertown, several nephews and nieces.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 9:30 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. A Live Stream of the Funeral Mass will be on Saints Peter & Paul Parish FACEBOOK page. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friend may call Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
