Maryjane Horwath, 69 of Nanticoke, passed away Thursday evening, December 28, 2017 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Inkerman, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace (Ackers) Wodjick.

Maryjane was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1967, and earned her Associate Degree in Business Management from Wilkes College.

She was a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter #1, Wyoming and former of the Mother Advisor of Rainbows, Assembly #74, Exeter.

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Dennis Horwath, daughter Noel Doran and her husband John, all of Nanticoke, grandchildren James Novak and Relena Wasielewski.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Father James R. Nash, Pastor of St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke, officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
