Maryann J. Frank, 81 of Plains Township and formerly of Bear Creek, passed away Wednesday morning, April 18, 2018 at Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Ochenkowski) Blondek.

Maryann was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1954, and was employed as a military secretary until her retirement.

Maryann loved to dance to Polka Music and would go to the Dupont Fire Hall for Polka Dances where she could often be seen selling raffle tickets when not dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Frank on January 4, 1984, and her daughter Christine Eovitch on April 18, 2011.

Surviving are her daughters Sharon Ralston and her husband Jay, Plains, and Marianne Frank, Larksville, grandchildren Shaun Skursky, Bobbi Lynn Komrowski and Kelsey Eovitch, great-grandchildren Gavin Shoemaker, and Makayla and Jackson Skursky, companion Mario Zucca.

Funeral will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:15 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville, PA  18704.  Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Route 115, Bear Creek.  Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
