Mary Lou McNulty, 55, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday evening, March 19, 2014, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA, after a courageous battle with the H1N1 Flu Virus.

Born in the East End section of Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Lou (Loftus) McNulty.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and King’s College, Wilkes-Barre receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed for Cinemark of Moosic for several years.

Mary Lou was a woman of great faith and was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin and was a member of the choir.

Surviving are her brothers Dennis McNulty and his Wife Carol, Laflin and Brian McNulty and his Wife Mary, and her nephews who were the Love’s of her life; Brandon, Brian Jr., Kevin and Corey McNulty.

Funeral will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive Laflin, PA  18702, with Monsignor Neil Van Loon, Pastor, officiating. The Parish Rosary Group will recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary in the Church 30 minutes before the Funeral Mass. All are invited to attend.

Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
