Mary Ann Bonita 62, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday evening, March 19, 2017 at the Inpatient unit of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Brown) Peduto.

Mary Ann was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1973 and was employed as a Hostess for Olive Garden of Wilkes-Barre, and as a Cashier for Orloski’s on Mundy Street. Mary Ann was a member of St. Benedict’s Parish, Parsons.

Preceding her in death in addition to her Father and Mother was her infant Son, Michael.

Surviving are her Sons, John Bonita at Home and Anthony Dennis and his Wife Rebecca, Mountain Top, Pa., Brother, Louie Peduto and his Wife Debbie, Bear Creek, Edie Sulkoski and her Husband Robert, Laflin, Betsy Froelick, Parsons, Jackie Bartoli and her Husband Gino, Laflin, Nieces and Nephews, “ whom all loved her dearly”.

Funeral will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 9:30 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Benedict’s Parish/ St. Dominick’s Church, 155 Austin Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705, with Father Joseph A. Kearney, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA.
