Mary Alice (Drew) Paraschak, 66 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday morning, April 22, 2017 at her home with her Husband and her Mother by her side.

Born in Plains she was the daughter of Mary (Binker) Drew of Plains and the late Hugh Drew who passed away on February 24, 2006.

Mary Alice was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and was a housekeeper until her retirement. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she was a choir member for 17 years. She was a member of the Wilkes-Barre Senior Citizens.

Mary Alice loved Po-Ke-No and Bingo, Arts and Crafts and loved to crochet hats for Cancer patients.

In addition to her Mother, Mary Drew of Plains, she is survived by her Loving Husband Joseph with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage on August 5, 2016, Brother Ronald Drew and his Wife Eleanor, Fredericksburg, Virginia, grandniece Hailey Marie Drew.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at The First Presbyterian Church, 97 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 with Reverend James Maxwell, officiating. Friends and family are asked to go directly to church Tuesday morning. Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains.

Viewing will be held Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations if desired may be made to Mary Alice’s family.
