I am sadden to hear that Mark lost his battle with cancer. I briefly worked with Mark on a PennDOT from May to December of 2019. Within those couple of months I got to know Mark both professional and personally. He was an extremely wise soul with that inner kid humor that made working with him a true joy every day.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark for the last 6 years. He was always cracking jokes and laughing despite what he was going through. Even as little as 3 weeks ago when we spoke last. He did not let on how bad he was when I ask him how are you doing. Graceful till the end. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed. I am praying for strength for you and the family during this most difficult time. God Bless Tammy

Dear Sharon, Bella, and Mr. and Mrs. Bacewicz, It is with heartfelt sadness that we express our condolences to you and all of Mark's family. He was a beautiful person, a loving husband, father, and son to all of you as well as to your family. We cannot understand why this had to happen. It is hard to accept and cruel to our way of thinking. If God needed another angel then Mark was the one that He chose, even though we wanted him to stay here with us. May Mark be forever in God's hands and may we be reunited with him when our time comes. You all are in our thoughts and prayers, now and always.

My condolences to the family, I will be sure to remember Mark and all of you in my prayers. I haven't seen Mark since we got out of school. We grew up only two blocks from each other. I'm glad to hear he was part of a warm and loving family. Stay strong and God bless you.

The Bacewicz Family. I met Mark 20+ years ago on a penndot project. He was a very good man and he loved his family. I was a consultant on the project but I learned a lot from Mark and we became good friends and stayed in touch over the years. He was kind, smart and honest. The construction industry will miss him and so will I. Prayerfully, Keith Dudley

We are deeply saddened by Mark's passing, I grew up living across the street from Mark and attended the same elementary, junior high and high school as Mark. I have known Mark all of my life. He was truly a wonderful person. He wouldn't hesitate to volunteer to help my dad as well as all the neighbors in Hilldale. He will truly be missed. Our family will keep Mark's family in our thoughts and prayers in their time of need. We are very sorry for your loss.

Ann and Mark, I am so sorry to hear about Mark and express my sympathy to you and your family. As you know, I had the same experience losing Chris also at a young age to cancer and it is very hard losing a child and my heart goes out to you. I am here if you want to talk 570-239-0103. It is especially hard dealing with the covid. Mark was a son to be very proud of and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
