Marion “Sissy” Tregaskis, 71 of Plains Twp., passed away, Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains, Twp.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late David & Rita (Blakeslee) Dunsmuir.

Marion was a graduate of Lourdesmont High School, Clarks Summit, class of 1961, and was employed in the garment industry as a sewing machine operator in the area garment factories.  She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband Donald Tregaskis on December 17, 2013, infant daughter Donna Jean Tregaskis, and her brother Billy Dunsmuir.

Surviving are her sons Donald Tregaskis and his wife Tina, Florida, Thomas Tregaskis and his wife Amphawan, Nevada, and David Tregaskis and his wife Bernadette, Plains, grandchildren, Thomas, Jonathan, Tracey, Tara, Joanne, Billy, Connie, and Jackie; great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, David Dunsmuir and his wife Rose, Plains, Joan Smith and her husband Gary, Forty Fort, Rita Luse, Kingston, Jean Elick and her husband Ron, Lansdale, Ann Cease, Ottawa, Ohio, Donald Dunsmuir, Wilkes-Barre, Shirley Baird, and her husband William, Plymouth, Margaret Augustaitus and her husband Leo, Wilkes-Barre, Thomas Dunsmuir and his wife Kathy, Plains, Bobby Dunsmuir and his wife Nancy, Wilkes-Barre, and John Dunsmuir, Wyoming; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held  Monday, September 8, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, with Rev. Dr. Paul Amara, Pastor of the Plains United Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment will be held in Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton, at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
