Marie “Ree Ree” Rossi, 61 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 8, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Plains Township, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Ruth M. (Yanulavage) Rossi.

Ree Ree attended James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed as a clerk at the Social Security Administration. She was a member of the Plains American Legion, Joseph E. Conlon, Post 558, The ITLO Club, Hilldale, and The Henry Citizens Club, Plains. Ree Ree enjoyed having a wonderful time with her friends and loved going to purse BINGO’S.

She was preceded in death by her companion Mark R. Willis on August 21, 2012, and her brother Anthony Rossi.

Surviving are her daughter Ashley Licina and her husband Mark, Pittston, brother Donald Rossi, Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, sisters Phyllis Petroski, Jenkins Township, and Lucy Rossi, Plains Twp., 6 nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Deacon Donald Crane, officiating. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
