Margaret “Peggy” Casagrande, 75 of Plains Township, passed away Thursday morning, November 15, 2018 at The Village at Greenbrier, Dallas, where she had recently been a resident.

Born in Long Island City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Gurchus) Silkiewicz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony “Cas” Casgrande on January 20, 2018, brother Edward Silkiewicz.

Surviving are her daughter Jennifer Pitarra and her husband Paul, Cary, NC, son Scott Casagrande & his wife Callie, Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Nicole, Cody, Stephen, and Kevin.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Peggy’s life will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating.
